This new capability transforms the iPad wine list into a true operational tool for sommeliers and waiters, not just a presentation interface.

The integration is already live at Zanze XVI in Venice, one of COENA’s pioneering customers.

 

 

From Wine Selection to Order in One Tap

With COENA’s new EPOS integration, the transition from recommendation to order becomes completely seamless.

Here’s how it works:

  1. The sommelier or waiter discusses the wine selection with the guest.

  2. They take the iPad and switch to COENA’s Waiter Mode.

  3. They select:

    • the chosen wine

    • the serving format (glass, bottle, etc.)

    • the table number

  4. They press “Send Order.”

The order is instantly transmitted to the restaurant’s EPOS system via HubRise.

At the same time:

  • The wine appears directly in the POS order for the table

  • The stock is automatically updated in COENA

No duplicate entry.

No manual reconciliation.
