From the walls of the historic Trattoria dalla Zanze, a new culinary destination is born. In Fondamenta dei Tolentini, a small and charming Osteria created to recount the Venice of yesterday to the people of today. The restaurant is open to everyone. A simple place to rediscover the pleasure of sharing food around the table.
Just like in a traditional osteria, the restaurant only serves what the market has to offer. Everyday, the chef carefully selects raw materials from the best local markets and producers, in order to create three unique gastronomic experiences. That’s how they can guarantee a fresh and seasonal cuisine representative of the Lagoon and everything that revolves around it.
THE TEAM
A young and talented team led by chef Nicola Dinato, together with Nicola Possagnolo.
A Michelin-starred chef and a digital strategist have collaborated with a promising young chef, who has left the Noma restaurant in Copenhagen to follow his Italian dream. A new food-concept that combines the affordability of the Venetian osteria with the delectable quality of haute cuisine.
The Zanze XVI wine list on iPad: authenticity meets digital
The authenticity of Zanze XVI blends very well with COENA’s digital wine list solution.

The benefits of a digital wine list
The Zanze XVI team is able to update the wine list in a few seconds via the administration interface of the COENA solution, integrated in the iPad. In fact, there is no need for a PC or a complicated “back end” solution: the administration interface on the iPad allows you to add, remove or modify a wine to the list in a simple way, and from anywhere. The changes are automatically synchronized on all the iPads of the Osteria.
